Welcome to Raynacity. Raynacity is a solar energy marketplace that connects customers with vetted solar energy installers, facilitates equipment discovery, and provides related energy services across Africa.
By accessing or using the Raynacity platform — whether through our website at www.raynacity.com or any associated services — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Raynacity is operated by Raynacity Limited, a company incorporated in Nigeria. Contact us at legal@raynacity.com.
Platform means the Raynacity website and all associated digital services.
Customer means any individual or business using the Platform to find solar energy services.
Installer means a solar installation professional or company vetted and listed on the Platform.
Job Brief means a customer-submitted description of their solar installation requirements submitted via the paid matching service.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By registering, you confirm you meet these requirements and agree to provide accurate information.
All Installers must complete Raynacity's KYC verification process. Raynacity reserves the right to refuse or revoke installer status at its sole discretion.
Free tier: Browse the installer directory, view profiles and reviews, and use our calculators at no charge. Calculator estimates are indicative only.
Get Matched (₦100,000): Raynacity personally reviews your Job Brief and introduces you to up to 3 vetted Installers. This fee is non-refundable once the shortlist has been delivered. You pay Raynacity the service fee for the introduction. You pay the Installer separately for the actual installation work.
We Handle It: A fully managed installation service priced per project. A separate installation agreement is provided for each project.
Raynacity Financing: Available to eligible customers. A minimum 30% down payment is required. Raynacity finances the remaining balance at an annual interest rate of 18% over a term of 12 to 24 months. Financing eligibility is assessed at Raynacity's sole discretion based on the information you provide. Approval of a financing application does not constitute a guarantee of installation quality or project completion.
All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments processed through the Platform are handled by Paystack, subject to their terms of service.
Raynacity is not responsible for any payment made directly between a Customer and an Installer outside the Platform. Only payments made through Raynacity are eligible for platform protection and dispute resolution.
Installers agree to maintain accurate profile information, hold valid COREN registration where required, honour quotes and timelines provided to Customers, and comply with all applicable Nigerian standards and building regulations.
Raynacity may suspend or remove an Installer's listing for any verified breach of these obligations, fraudulent conduct, or repeated poor customer outcomes.
Raynacity is a marketplace and introduction service. We are not a party to the installation contract between Customer and Installer. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or completion of any installation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Raynacity's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Raynacity in the three months preceding the claim.
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Raynacity Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Raynacity may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
