1. Who We Are

Raynacity Limited operates the Raynacity platform at www.raynacity.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the Platform. Contact us at privacy@raynacity.com.

2. What We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.

Job Brief data: Property type, location, budget range, system requirements, and any notes you provide when submitting a Get Matched request.

Financing data: Employment status, income range, and estimated system cost when you apply for financing. This information is used solely to assess eligibility.

Installer profile data: Business name, COREN number, CAC registration details, service areas, photos of past work, and KYC documents submitted during the application process.

Payment data: Transaction references and payment status. Card details are handled by Paystack and are never stored on Raynacity systems.

Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected automatically through standard web server logs and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Match you with appropriate solar installers
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Assess and manage financing applications
• Communicate with you about your job brief, installers, and loan status
• Send transactional emails (payment confirmations, shortlist delivery, payment reminders)
• Improve the Platform and our services
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Sharing Your Data

We share data with:

Matched Installers: When we deliver your shortlist, we share your name, contact details, area, and job brief with the selected installers so they can respond to your enquiry.

Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), Paystack (payment processing), and Resend (transactional email). Each is bound by data processing agreements.

Legal requirements: We may disclose data where required by law, regulation, or court order.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Job brief data is retained for 24 months after submission. Loan and payment records are retained for 7 years for financial compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Nigerian data protection law (NDPA 2023), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)
• Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
• Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, TLS in transit, and role-based access controls. However, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@raynacity.com.

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Platform. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version was last revised.
